Rhea Ranavat is a South Asian television and film actress based in New York City and Mumbai. Born and raised in Mumbai, she grew up immersed in Bollywood’s bold, emotional storytelling. After 15 years in New York finance, she left the corporate world to act full time, bringing discipline, preparation, and an instinct for high stakes to every role.

Her screen credits include the lead role of Tina Maia in Betrayal: Secrets & Lies on Hulu and ABC. Her performance as Samiha in To Love was recognized by the Astoria Film Festival. Her training includes the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Atlantic Acting School, T. Schreiber Studio, The Freeman Studio, Stella Adler Studio of Acting, HB Studio, and The Kimball Studio.

Fluent in English and Hindi, Rhea performs with authentic American and Indian accents. Movement was her first storytelling language. She trained extensively in Bharatanatyam and Kathak, completing her Bharatanatyam Arangetram at 15, before expanding into Bollywood and contemporary dance. She is drawn to women full of contradictions: polished but unraveling, commanding yet vulnerable, dangerous but deeply human.
